Loy Krathong Festival

     Loy Krathong festival is one of the most popular and romantic festival. Loy Kra Thong is in November of every year. The reason that is why we have Loy Krathong festival is in the past, people believe that there was the Goddess. So we use the water day or the Loy Krathong day to say apologize to the Goddess by made the Krathong. sticks. 

     The word Loy Krathong has the meaning, Loy means to float and the word Krathong means vessel made of banana stalk and leaves. 

Krathong is decorated by candle, flowers and incense  

Songkran Festival

     This festival is called Song Kran festival. Song Kran festival is the Thai new year, which is on 13-15 April and it’s a hot season, so it is why we have Song Kran festival.

Because in this day we will play the water fight and we also do like this to say apologize to elders and then the elders will bless to you.
